Joseph G. Kraynak

Joseph G. Kraynak, 68, husband of Patricia M. (Judge) Kraynak of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at home surrounded by his family.

Born on December 22, 1954 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Michael R. Kraynak, Sr. and Theresa M. (Hritz) Kraynak.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 5 children:
Christine wife of Kevin McIntyre;
Julie wife of Christopher Weller;
Joseph Alex husband of Amanda Kraynak;
Mark Kraynak;
Michelle Kraynak;

6 Grandchildren, Nora, Elinor, Brody, Blaire, Charlotte, and Clark.

2 Brothers, Michael R. Kraynak, Jr. and John A. husband of Donna Kraynak.

2 Aunts, Elizabeth Smrek and Helen Martin and 2 Uncles, Richard husband of Marilyn Kraynak and Frank Souch husband of the late Maryann (Kraynak) Souch.

Joseph is a graduate of Millersville State College where he played Basketball and Track and Field as High Jumper.  Joseph worked as a Credit Manager for Rentokil.

He was a member of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Phoenixville, PA.  Joseph was a former Phoenixville Area School Board President, KYAL Commissioner and Coach, and East Pikeland Auditor.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, boating, watching the Eagles, reading and relaxing by the pool.  

Joseph was medically accepted to the Humanity Gifts Registry at Jefferson Medical College for anatomical study and research in the hope that may help others.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
