John "Grassy" Grohoski, Jr.

John J. "Grassy" Grohoski, Jr., 78, husband of the late Margaret E. (Spencer) Grohoski of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021 in Milford, DE.
Born on January 3 1943 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late John and Anna (Hretzek) Grohoski.
He worked in the Streets and Water Department for the Phoenixville Borough.
He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Polish Club, Friendship Fire Company, Slovak Club, Italian Club, and Ukrainian Club.
He was active in fundraising for the church community and other organizations.
He is survived by his son, John J. Grohoski, III husband of Karen Grohoki.
2 Grandchildren, Craig and Corinne Grohoski.
Brothers, Joseph Grohoski husband of Mary and Robert Grohoski husband of Elaine, and sister, Mary Ann Carona.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Pete and Walt Grohoski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Divine Liturgy in Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Fairview and St. Mary's Streets, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
A visitation will be held in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
