John Williamson

March 1, 1922 — July 9, 2016

John D. "Jack" Williamson, 94, husband of the late Jean (Ehrke) Williamson, of Pottstown, PA died on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at home.

Born on March 1, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Lewis and Marguerite (Worrall) Williamson.

He served in the Army during World War II.

Jack was a self-employed general contractor and plumber before moving to Florida where he worked for a construction company retiring in 1984. He lived in Moore Haven, FL until 2013 when he returned to PA.

He was a member of the Optimist Club in West Chester, PA and the VFW Post 1564 in Phoenixville, PA.

Surviving are:
Daughter, Barbara W. Kolle;
Son, David J. Williamson and wife Tonya;
Daughter, Carole White and husband William;
Son, Mark Steven Williamson;
Daughter, Nancy Flores and husband Jerry;

10 Grandchildren:
Christine Shepard, Laura Tammaro, Emily O'Keefe, Ruthie Hayes, Jonathan Kolle, Michael Christopher Williamson, Jeremy Williamson, Joel Williamson, Aaron Williamson, and Whitney White.

21 Great-Grandchildren:
Amber, Nathan, Gianna, Emma Kate, Maggie, Landon, Jake, Evan, Halle Paige, Jonathan, Finneas, Mason, Tyson, Heath, Katie, Jackson, Victoria, Aaden, Skylar, and Sariah and one on the way.

Sister, Mary Jane Herrington.

His beloved Daphne.

He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters:
Lewis, Thomas, Bernice and Dorothy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service from the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:30 am.

Burial will be in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Cemetery

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 am.
