John C. Rueppel, Jr. age 85 of Phoenixville, passed away Friday September 16, 2016 at his Phoenixville residence with his family by his side. John was the beloved husband of the late Anneliese Alma (Albrecht) Rueppel with whom they shared 42 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John C. Sr., and Anna May (Sixsmith) Rueppel. John had served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam as an Army Medic.
He was employed as a kidney dialysis technician at St. Joseph's Hospital in Reading for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by 1 son: William Rueppel and his wife Patricia of S. Dakota. 3 daughters: Brenda Adamson and her husband James of Schwenksville, Linda Saxton and her husband Donald of Phoenixville and Bobbie Steinman and her husband Brian of Downingtown. He was the grandfather of William, Jonathon, Erika and Elizabeth Rueppel. Erin and Regina Osting, Jeffrey Adamson, Benjamin and Brett Steinman. He was the great grandfather of Hayden Rueppel, Keddy and Kora Thompson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home and Cremation Services , 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11 AM.
Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10 AM to 11 AM.
