John Redmond "Jack" Rogers Jr., Morgantown Pa

They met in the 1960s when he used to cruise around Bridge Street in Phoenixville showing off his car. Marcia must have liked what she saw, because she jumped in for a ride and never left his side for 50 years until she was called to go to heaven. There is a memorial brick with their names on Bridge Street near where they met. Marcia was the star in his sky, the breath in his lungs, everything he did in life was to make her happy and he succeeded.
John is survived by his children, John Redmond Rogers III husband of Shawn, of Warwick Township, Pa, Michael J Rogers of Phoenixville, Lisa Ann (Rogers) wife of David Lass of Wendell, North Carolina. 6 grandchildren Paige (Rogers) wife of Jim Przybylowicz, Brandy Rogers, Morgan Rogers, Johnathan Rogers, Olivia Rogers, Brookelyn Rogers, two great-grandchildren Garrett Przybylowicz, Nolan Przybylowicz, and a sister Kathleen Miller.
John work night shift at Acme market for over 40 plus years to support his wife and three children. John loved antiques, history, baking, cooking, gardening, and the quiet living in the Amish Country after retirement.
John was a proud Pop-Pop of his 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. John love teaching his older grandchildren to drive, and enjoyed spending time at their sports, events and marching and concert band and the annual Christmas play.
