John R. Jacob

John R. Jacob, 90, husband of Geraldine V. (Putz) Jacob of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022.

Born on October 27, 1931 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late John P. and Anna (Hutter) Jacob.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Mediterranean Sea during the Korean War.

John worked as a Communications Technician for AT&T until his retirment. He was formerly a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was attending St. Ann Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Phoenixville Chapter of AARP, Phoenixville Senior Center, and Audubon Senior Center.

John enjoyed fishing, traveling, but most of all being a Pappy.

In addition to his wife Geraldine,  he is survived by two children:

Daughter, Mary Ellen wife of Craig Billman;

John M. husband of Patty Jacob.

Seven Grandchildren, Bridget Billman, Craig M. husband of Joann Billman, John D. husband of Brooke Jacob, Cara wife of Justin Mowles, Michelle wife of David Stradley, Emily McMichael, and Nathan McMichael.

Nine Great-grandchildren,

Sister, Mary Lou Cannulli, and brothers, Richard husband of Jane Jacob and Ernest, husband of Ann Jacob.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Miller.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Ann Chapel, 604 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Phoenixville.

A visitation will be held in the chapel on Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 am.
