John J. Irey, III

John J. Irey, III, 68, husband of Regina (Downs) Irey of Pottstown, PA passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at home from cancer.

Born on June 18, 1956 in Phoenixville, PA. He was the son of the late John J. Irey, Jr. and Valerai (Umstead) Irey.

John was a Firefighter for Phoenixville Fire Department and loved to bowl.

He is survived by his wife Regina (Downs) Irey and son, John J. Irey, IV, Clearwater, Florida, son of Carol (Futterer) Irey.

In addition to his wife and son, John has 2 sisters, Lynn Ann Betley wife to Michael Betley, Phoenixville and Helen Irey-Jackson (late Carl Jackson) of Pottstown, PA and several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held in Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford, PA on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:00 am.
