John R. "Jack" Griffith

John R. "Jack" Griffith, 75, husband of the late Rosemary (Chermack) Griffith of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Born on May 6, 1948 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Robert E. and Eleanor (Rowan) Griffith.

He was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, Class of 1966.  He worked as a Professional Long Haul Truck Driver for Bekins Trucking and then PennDot.  In his career he was chosen as driver of the month and later driver of the year.

He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.

He loved his cats and liked to feed animals, gardening, and canoeing in the creeks.  Jack was an Eagle Scout.

He is survived by:
Brother, Robert E. husband of Ann Griffith;
Sister, Sally wife of Raymond Strzelecki.

Nephews, Adam and Matthew Strzelecki, and niece, Stephanie Hudak.

Great nephew, Ted and great niece, Hannah.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.

Visitation will be in the church on Thursday from 8:45 to 9:45 am.
