John W. Doswell, Jr., 83, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Thrusday, August 11, 2016 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Zamelia Ann (Travis-Bey) Doswell, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage.
Born in Chester, PA on April 20, 1933, he was the son of the late John W. Sr. and Mary (Dawson) Doswell.
He was an honorably discharged veteran having served in the US Army during the Korean War.
John was a proprietor of a home cleaning service for many years until his retirement.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in Grimes A.M.E. Church, 338 Morris Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held in the church on Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Burial will be held in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA, on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11:00 am.
