Joan Kane

Joan Doris Kane, 91, of Royersford, PA passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Born on March 15, 1931 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late John D. Kane, Sr. and Doris (Piersol) Kane.

She was a cashier at the Gateway Pharmacy in Phoenixville and Jerry's Thriftway Market.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Legion of Mary.  She loved music, playing cards, traveling and baking.

She is survived by 4 children:
William husband of Jean McCann;
Richard husband of Christine McCann;
Sharon wife of Anthony Romano;
Nancy wife of John Zurek.

13 Grandchildren.

9 Great-grandchildren and one due on Easter.

1 Great-great granddaughter.

Brother, Deacon James wife of Mary Kane and sisters, Sister Doris Kane IHM and Kathleen wife of Michael Vasko.

She was preceded in death by son, Paul McCann, Jr. and brothers and sisters, Jack Kane, Sister Mary Jane Kane IHM, Joseph Kane, and Patricia Burruano.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA 19475 on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.

A visitation will be held in church on Monday from 9:30 am to 10:45 am.
