Jeneen M. Dellaquila

Jeneen M. (Abernethy) Dellaquila, 53, wife of John A. "Drew" Dellaquila of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at home.

Born on June 2, 1970 in West Chester, PA and lived most of her life in Kennett Square, PA.  She was the daughter of Eugene Abernethy and the late Vicki Bourlard..

She was a graduate of Avondale High School, Class of 1988.

She worked as a Paralegal for various law firms and most recently was an Executive Administrative Assistant at JP Morgan Chase.

She was an active member of The Power Place Church, Kennett Square.

Jeneen enjoyed traveling, going out to dinner, getting her nails done, and throwing a good party.  She was famous for her potato salad and pulled pork.  She was wonderful at finding solutions and a great advocate for the loved ones.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 3 children:
Emily Cropper Henderson wife of Drew Henderson;
Jeffrey Thomas Cappie and fiancée Heidy Jaime;
Julia Cappie Hoopes wife of Todd Hoopes.

2 Step-daughters, Nicole Dellaquila and Lucia Dellaquila.

3 Grandchildren, Sadie Henderson, Carter Henderson, and Jordan Hoopes.

Brothers and sisters, Laura Welch, Chris Abernethy, Leith Abernethy, Katé Abernethy Watts.

Step-mother, Angela Antell.

A visitation will be held at the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA  on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at The Power Place Church, 576 Rosedale Road, Kenett Square, PA  on Wednesday, January 17, at 10:30 am..

Burial will be private.
