Jason A. Roush, 49, husband of Melissa A. (nee Rhoad) Roush of Mont Clare, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 surrounded by family and friends in Phoenixville, PA following a brief battle with cancer.
He was born in Lansdale, PA on September 23, 1971 to Kathleen A. Roush and the late James A. Roush, Sr. Jason has worked as a Welder and the Stainless Weld Department Lead for CHL Systems in Souderton, PA since 2006. Prior to CHL, he worked at S&W Race Cars in Spring City, PA.
Jason was a devoted husband, father and grandfather (Poppy). He was truly one of the good ones. Genuine, hard-working, funny and kind. Jason loved fishing, camping, biking, and all things outdoors.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by three children: Reed J. Reish, Jr.; Cassandra C. Bodington (Matt), and Travis J. Reish (April); his three grandgirls: Madison, Molly and Morgan; sister, Susan McClung (Matthew), brother, Jeff Roush (Jacqui) and several Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, James A. Roush, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at St. John's United Church of Christ, 500 Main Street, Lansdale, PA on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s.
The family wishes to thank the nurses at Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital for their compassionate, outstanding care. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Seasons Hospice, 140 Nutt Road, Phoenixville, PA 19460.
