James Sallad

James Sallad, 78, of Phoenixville, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in Phoenixville Hospital. 

Born November 8, 1944 in Sparta, GA he was a son of the late Elijah and Christine Sallad. 

James is survived by 2 children:
Daughter, Jennifer Baxter-Sallad
Son, James Sallad, Jr.,

He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren Jairus Sallad, Melody Jackson & Journey Carter

Sister, Christine Christie, of Phoenixville
Brother, Elijah Sallad, Jr., of Sparta, GA

Nieces and Nephew, Vicky Anderson, James Anderson, Ava Anderson, Ellisha White-Head, Christine Christie Johnson, NiAndrea McAlister, Shardae McAlister, Alvita Sallad

He was preceded in death by his brother, Nathan Sallad and his sister, Avis Anderson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. 

Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville. 

A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist the family with funeral expenses may be made to the funeral home at the address above.
