James Joseph Carey, 91, husband of Eleanor M. (Valerio) Carey of Phoenixville, PA died on January 1, 2019.
Born on September 25, 1927 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late James H. and Agnes E. (Donnelley) Carey.
He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Phoenixville, PA.
He was a Fire Truck Driver for Friendship Fire Company for may years.
Surviving in addition to his wife are:
Daughter, Roberta wife of Gregory Bones;
Son, James H. husband of Ellen Carey;
Daughter, Colleen Adams.
7 Grandchildren:
Jennifer, Rebecca, Bill, Justin, Michael, Jacqueline, and Christine.
10 Great-grandchildren:
Colin, Elouise, April, Daniella, Alex, Mika, David, Hannah, Jimmy, and Harper.
1 Great great-grandson.
Brother, Robert husband of Joan Carey.
Sister, Millie Weand.
Preceded by brother, William "Dick" Carey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 219 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
A visitation will be held in church on Friday from 11:45 to 12:45 pm.
