Jacob "Jake" Kulp, 34, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.
Born on February 12, 1983, in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of Denise M. (Berger) Kulp of Phoenixville, PA, and Donald M. Kulp of Boca Raton, Florida. He was born during a snowstorm that dropped 22 inches of snow on Pottstown.
Jake attended Methacton High School in Fairview Village, and was raised in Lower Providence.
He was a volunteer with the Schuylkill Canal Association and the Philadelphia Folk Festival.
Jake was a musician and music lover, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, kayaking and fishing along the Perkiomen Creek in his kayak. He was skilled at chess, quizzo, scrabble and words with friends.
He loved hanging out with his friends and was a proud and fun uncle.
Surviving in addition to his parents are,
sister, Danielle A. Kulp of Phoenixville, PA,
nephew, Elliot Kulp,
grandmother, Rita Hartsell of Pottstown, PA,
and aunts, uncle and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Michael's Picnic Grove, 203 Jacob Street, Mont Clare, PA, on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 1:30 pm.
