Irene Novak

Irene (Drizga) Novak, 88, wife of the late Joseph F. Novak of Phoenixville, PA and formerly of South Philadelphia passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

Born on January 10, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Vasil (Charles) and Julia Drizga.

She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and formerly a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, St. Aloysius Catholic Church, and Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church in South Philadelphia.

She was a member of Phoenixville Senior Center.

She is survived by 4 children:
Son, Joseph Novak;
Son, Stephen Novak (separated from wife Carla Stern);
Daughter, Irene wife of Christopher Adams;
Son, Matt Novak.

6 Grandchildren, Katrina, Anastasia, Christopher, Ana, Simeon, and Maria (Mimi).

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Drizga and John Drizga and sisters, Helen Kane and Julianne Tereniak.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 219 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 10:00 am.

A visitation will be in church on Thursday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

Burial will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
