Henry L. Ginnona

Henry L. “Hank” Ginnona, 94, husband of Helen (Kelemen) Ginnona of Berwyn, PA,
passed away with his family by his side on Monday, November 6, 2023.

Born on June 30, 1929 in Howellville, PA, he was a son of the late Querino and Assunta
(Garzia) Ginnona. Hank graduated from Tredyffrin-Easttown High School and went on
to serve in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Hank worked for A&P
Markets in the Philadelphia area as a store manager for many years and continued
working as the Garden Shop Manager at Waterloo Gardens in Devon where he loved
working among his two favorite things, flowers and people.

He was passionate about his vegetable and flower gardens and spending time outdoors.
He loved making and sharing his homemade wine with family and friends. Everyone
who met Hank liked him and his genuine, easy personality!

Hank was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church where he was an
usher for many years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great
grandfather.

In addition to his wife of 69 years, he is survived by four children: Ron, husband of
Traci; Rich, husband of Lorraine; Kathy, husband of Tom Sheplock; and Patty, wife of
the late Brian Hulsey.

Twelve Grandchildren: Emily, Thomas (Kirsten), David (Ann), Justin (Stephanie),
Lauren (David), Michael (Katy), Christopher, Nicholas, Brian, Jr, (Lauren), Becky
(Mike), Jessica and Eric.

Fourteen Great Grandchildren: Harley (Daniel), Sophia, David, Maren, Elise, Carter,
Nora, Nicholas, Anthony, Olivia, Lucas, Henry, Louis and Brian.

Sister: Norma Benigni

Henry was preceded in death by his brother Anthony Ginnona and sister Rita Henderson.

A viewing will be held in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 35 Old Eagle
School Road, Wayne, PA on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 9:15 to 10:15am,
followed by his funeral Mass at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery,
Phoenixville.
