Helen L. (Miller) Bitting, age 89, of Pottstown, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late George E. Bitting, Sr.
Born in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of the late George and Edith (Yeager) Miller.
She was a graduate of Phoenixville High School.
She was a volunteer at the Southeastern Veterans Center in Spring City for 30 years. She was a life member of American Legion Post 602 in Spring City, PA, past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign War Post 1564 and a life member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 1273 in Phoenixville, PA.
She is survived by her daughters,
Joan Potter of Roulette, PA,
Faye Eves and her husband Kenneth of Pottstown, PA,
her sons,
George Bitting, Jr. and wife Marie of Phoenixville, PA,
Russell Bitting and wife Donna of Phoenixville, PA,
Richard Bitting and wife Allison of Mohnton, PA.
sister of George Miller and wife Marge of Torrance, CA,
sister of the late Earl Miller.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Spring City, PA.
A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday morning from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
