Harold A. "Pete" Taney

Harold A. "Pete" Taney, 79, husband of Helen E. "Bonnie" (Ulmer) Taney of Phoenixville, PA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, June 19, 2023 at home.

Born on September 29, 1943 in Millville, NJ he was the son of the late Jacob and Alice (Knerr) Taney.

For the last 16 years he has enjoyed retirement going to Delaware and Maryland shores where he had a trailer and a boat and he enjoyed spending time with family.   He also enjoyed watching NASCAR on Sunday afternoons.  Prior to that he worked as a CDL Truck Driver for Volpe Express.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen Taney and their children.  Harold A. "Bowie" Taney, Tammy wife of Kenneth Schlotzhauer, Tina Taney-Carfagno, Roxanne wife of Robert Jones, 8 Grandchildren, 16 Great-grandchildren, brothers, William husband of Terri Taney and Jacob husband of Sandy Taney, and sister, Dianne Finch.

He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew J. Taney, brother, Charles Taney and sisters, Terry Taney and Doris Taney.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 11:00 am.

A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 am.
