Gloria L. Raef

Gloria Lou (Durham) Raef, 94, wife of John R. "Jack" Raef of Audubon, PA passed away quietly on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Born on June 18, 1930 in Peoria, Illinois she was the daughter of the late William and Bessie (Gordon) Durham.

Gloria worked as a Real Estate Agent at Weichert Real Estate in Blue Bell for many years. She worked in a Photographers Studio prior to becoming an agent.

She was a member of Audubon Womens Club, modeling into her 90’s at their annual Fashion Show, a honorary member of The Ninety Nines International Organization of Women Pilots, and longtime member of Art Goes to School.

Gloria was an avid reader, belonging to many book clubs and she participated in many social activities at Shannondell, like Current Events. She enjoyed a long and healthy life, filled with travel and adventure. In her later years, she enjoyed watching game shows, (especially with her grandson!), doing puzzles with her bestie, and Sunday dinners with her extended family.

She is survived by 2 daughters:

Sandrah Moles and partner Steven C. Peduto;

Patrice Raef Rutenberg, wife of the late Dr. Harold Rutenberg;

Also survived by

2 grandchildren, Dr. Troy Moles and Emma Rutenberg.

Sisters, Becky and Sue and brother, Steven.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Raef; son, Jonathan Raef; granddaughter, Laura Moles, and siblings, Bob, Katie, Lucille, Dave, Ron, and Rich.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 12:30 pm.

A visitation will be in the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 to 12:30pm.
