Gladys Hewitt

Gladys L. (Woodward) Hewitt, 96, wife of the late John Erwin Hewitt, of Spring City, PA, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016.

Born in Spring City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo R. and Edna G. (DuBoise) Woodward.

She was a graduate of Spring City High School, class of 1937.

Gladys and her husband operated a Dairy Farm in East Coventry, PA.

She was a member of Brownback United Church of Christ, where she was a member of Brownback Church Women's Guild.

She was an active member of the East Coventy PTA for many years, and a member of Ridge Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are:
son, Robert and wife Danielle Hewitt of East Coventry, PA,

3 grandchildren,
Amy and husband Nate Matusheski,
Jody and husband Mike Kull,
Vicky and husband Tyler Puckett,

6 great-grandchildren,
Luke, Riley, Ella, Gunther, Haley and Jacob.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in Brownback's United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road, Spring City, PA,on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 2:00 pm.

Burial will follow in Brownback's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Spring City, PA.

A viewing will be held in the church on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brownback's United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road, Spring City, PA 19475.
