Gerald M. Matalavage

Gerald M. Matalavage, 73, husband of the late Margaret Matalavage of Lower Providence, PA passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

Born on June 13, 1949 in Shenandoah, PA he was the son of the late John and Frances (Piaskowski) Matalavage.

He was a Vietnam Era Army Veteran and a Corrections Captain at SCI Graterford.

He enjoyed cooking, traveling, playing golf, and shooting.

He is survived by a son, Christopher husband of Shelly Matalavage;  Brothers and sisters: Frank, Arlene, Mary, Donna, Cindy, and Robert.

He was preceded by brothers, Daniel and John.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to a charity supporting Veterans.
