F. Allan Hopp

F. Allan Hopp, 92, husband of the late Dorothy M. (Metzgar) Hopp of Phoenixville, PA died on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at home.

Born on May 9, 1927 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late George and Helen Hopp.

He served in the Navy during World War II aboard the USS Juneau. He was a Plant Manager for former AP deSanno in Phoenixville and he retired from Phoenixville Area High School.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Phoenixville, active in Phoenixville Little League, VFW Post 1564 and American Legion Post 602 where he served as chaplain.

He is survived by:

Son, Allan Michael husband of Lynn Hopp;

Daughter, Cathy and Mark Glowacki.

6 Grandchildren:

Michael and wife Jessica Hopp;

Erin and husband Jamie Starling;

Matthew and wife Jennifer Glowacki;

Brett Glowacki and husband Jeremy Plymette;

David and wife Grayson Hopp;

Steven Glowacki.

12 Great-grandchildren:

MacKenna, Cooper, Lyla Grace, Emma James, Cade, Ashlyn, Sydney, Christian, Peyton-Matison, Camille, Brooklynn, and Millie.

2 sisters, Elaine and Eleanor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in First United Methodist Church, 865 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday November 1, 2019 at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow in Morris Cemetery.

A viewing will be held in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home on Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and in the church on Friday from 9:30 to 10:15 am.
