Evelyn A. Spitz
Evelyn A. (Egan) Spitz, 86, wife of the late Ronald J. Spitz of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 in Little Flower Manor, Darby, PA.
Born on August 28, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Selma (Awot) Egan.
Evelyn worked as an administrative assistant in the Clinical Department at St. Gabriel's Hall. She was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church in Phoenixville. She enjoyed participating in many social activities and loved to be surrounded by her family and friends.
She is survived by children: Danielle M. Kovach, Kelly M. Thomson (Christopher) and Andrew J. Spitz (Erik); stepson Ronald J. Spitz Jr. (Kimberly); grandchildren: Breanna Kovach, Chelsey McLean, Joseph Kovach III, Christopher Thomson, Jr., Alivia Spitz and Alexis Spitz; great grandchildren: William, Oliver, Myles, Sadie, and Emma.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Awot and great granddaughter Ellie.
A viewing will be held in St. Ann Chapel, 604 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 9:45 to 10:45 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
