Esther Mychalus

Esther M. (Rakowski) Mychalus, 70, wife of Walter Mychalus of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021.

Esther was born on March 4, 1950 to the late Alexander and Antoinette (Lisowski) Rakowski.

After receiving a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University, Esther taught at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Royersford for many years.  She was a dedicated member of Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Phoenixville.  Esther loved to travel especially to Disney World and Universal Studios.

In addition to her husband, Walter, she is survived by her loving sister, Mary Ellen M. Rakowski.

A viewing will be held in Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 301 Fairview Street, Phoenixville, PA, on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 9:00 to 10:00 am.  A Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 am with Rev. Ihor Royik officiating.

Burial will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
