Emma J. Good

Emma J. (Mahoney) Good, 90, wife of the late Henry N. Good, passed away peacefully in her home in Phoenixville, PA.  Surrounded by family and friends, she passed on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born on January 18, 1933 in West Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Edna (Sharp) Mahoney.

Emma, known as "Granny" to all who knew her, had a love of cleaning, word search puzzles, and owls.  Emma enjoyed her time spent with family and friends by reminiscing on detailed and entertaining stories from her past, as well as creating many new and heartfelt memories for her survivors to enjoy after her passing.

Emma is survived by two sisters, Margaret Pinkerton and Ida Fryberger; two children, Erma J. wife of the late Douglas Fryberger and Daniel Mahoney;  two grandchildren, Brad L. husband of Daisy (Cintron) Fryberger and Jennifer A. wife of the late Alan Suriano;  and 3 great-grandchildren, Jenna LeAnn Fryberger Suriano, Brianna L. Suriano, and Diego A. Fryberger;  as well as many nieces, nephew, and extended family members.

Emma is preceded in death by 3 brothers, John Mahoney, Dennis Mahoney, Jr., and Patrick Mahoney as well as two sisters, Helen Mahoney and Ruth Mahoney.

A celebration of Emma's life will be announced by her family members at a later date.
