Emery Varady, Sr.

Emery Varady, Sr., 87, husband of the late Sonja M. (Sturdevant) Varady of Phoenixville, PA died on Monday, Febraury 10, 2020 at home.

Born on August 15, 1932 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Alex and Bertha (Varadi) Varady.

He worked as a Brick Mason for McAvoy Brick in Phoenixville until his retirement.

He is survived by 5 children:

Son, Emery Varady, Jr. (Deborah);

Daughter, Sonja Marlene Haldren (the late Arvin);

Son, Bryan Varady (Robert)

Daughter, Kimberly Law;

Son, Rodney Varady.

6 Grandchildren:

Chris, Robert, Russ, Keith, Ashley, and Jordan.

9 Great-grandchildren:

Tamara, Sydney, Jenna, Robbie, Sebastian, Toni, Anthony, Elex, and Zane.

1 Great-great grandson, Elliot.

Brothers and sister:

Twin brother, Steven Varady, Margaret Sturdevant, Lucy Fortunato, Mary Varady, and Ethel Nemeth.

Preceded in death by his wife, Sonja, son, Jeffrey Varady, brother, Alex Varady and sister, Bertha Kalamon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Limerick Gardens of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 11:00 am

Burial will follow.

Friends may call at the chapel on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
