Elizabeth "Betsy" Irwin

Elizabeth "Betsy" Irwin, 68, wife of Michael Irwin of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023 in Phoenixville Hospital.

Born on February 8, 1955 in Norristown, PA she was the daughter of the late William Streeper and Alice (Hiscock) Coryell and was a step-daughter to the late William Coryell.  She was a graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown, PA.

Betsy was recently retired from Eagleville Hospital where she was a Patient Accounts Manager for many years.

Betsy enjoyed a lot of things.  Mostly going away on vacation, whether it was going on weekend girls camping trips or spending time in Outer Banks or going to many islands over the years with friends.  She also enjoyed making people happy.  She would always be there in time of need and would do anything for anyone at any given time.

In addition to her husband of 26 years, she is survived by her daughter Amy Hollinger and her sister, Margaret Bleistein, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, William Streeper.

A Memorial Service will be in Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 11:30 am.

Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:30 am.
