Eleanor J. Zurek

Eleanor J. (Cruickshank) Zurek, 82, wife of the late James C. Zurek of Mont Clare, PA passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at home.

Born on January 1, 1940 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late James E. and Margaret (Petiet) Cruickshank.

Eleanor worked for 37 years in Customer Service at Phoenixville Federal Bank and Trust.

She is a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to Casinos, watching the Phillies, and listening to Country music.  In her spare time she was an avid seamstress.

She is survived by 2 children:

John husband of Nancy Zurek;

Ann Marie wife of Edward Kugler.

4 Grandchildren, John Zurek, Jr., Ashley Barnett, James Kugler, and Nicole Kugler.

Sister, Elsie Mae Nesspor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

A viewing will be in church on Friday from 8:45 to 9:45 am.
