Edward J. "Edj" Sierzega

Edward J. "Edj" Sierzega, 89, husband of the late Patricia (Getzey) Sierzega of Mont Clare, PA, died on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at home.

Born on April 23, 1929 in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Boyda) Sierzega.

He was an administrator for Phoenix Steel Corporation and then worked at PQ Corporation in Wayne, PA until he retired in 1995.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Phoenixville, PA.

He is survived by 2 daughters:

Andrea Pasukinis and Charles Nuss;

Karen Hagman.

4 Grandchildren:

Stan Pasukinis, Joseph husband of Erin Pasukinis, Zachary Hagman, and Alexis Hagman.

1 Great-grandson, Jakob Liam Pasukinis.

Preceded in death by son: Michael Sierzega; brothers and sisters: Fred Sierzega, Joseph Sierzega, Frank Sierzega, Thomas Sierzega, John Sierzega, Mildred Putz, and Sophie Trego.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 219 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Mont Clare, PA.

A viewing will be held in church from 8:45 to 9:45 am.
