Edward Taylor Thomson, died on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at the age of 82. He died in Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 57 years, Sondra, and is survived by two sons, Douglas and his wife Dolores,of Waterford Works, NJ, and Christopher and his wife Jane, of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by two grandsons, Hayden J. Thomson and Carter J. Thomson of Lincoln, NE, and sister, Marjorie Cook of Thetford Center, VT.
Ed was an electrical engineer and for many years was president of Thomson Engineering Co., Inc. When he retired he continued in engineering work as a consultant and expert witness.
He took his oath to serve and protect the Constitution of the United States of America in 1953 and served with the United States Army, being discharged from active duty as Sergeant in 1957.
He was an active member of the Phoenixville Country Club where he enjoyed his round of golf and cards.
