Edith M. Schaeffer

Edith M. (Steigerwalt) Schaeffer, 86, wife of Stanley Schaeffer and the late David H. Bortman, Jr. of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at home.

Born on September 28, 1938 in Valley Forge, PA she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Lanning) McIntyre.

She was a member of Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary and a former member of Valley Forge Baptist Church.

3. Cindy Wilson-Naile wife of John Naile;
4. Keith Wilson;
5. Leslie Wilson and Alan Handwerk.

Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sister, Nancy Funk.

Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Denise Seeley and granddaughters, Courtney Wilson and Mikayla Seeley, and sister, June (Steigerwalt) Messner.

Private service for the family.
