Eben (Monte) Conner Jr, 81, of Phoenixville, PA entered glory on October 12, 2016.
He was born August 16, 1935 to Eben & Ada Conner of Yakima, WA. He accepted Jesus as his savior as a youth.
Monte graduated from Yakima High School in 1954 and Washington University in 1961 with a BS in Chemistry. He worked in the nuclear energy field.
He married Margaret Beeghly on June 23, 1962. They moved to Wheaton, MD in 1970 and then Phoenixville, PA in 1983.
He loved God, his family, singing (barbershop & church choir), and working with children. He opened his home to Vietnamese refugees, international students, and others. He supported many missionaries and ministries. He built 2 houses, worked on cars, and many other projects.
Monte is survived by his wife Margaret, his sister Cecilia Marsh, son Eben 3rd, daughter Lindin Dotson, son Mike, 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchilden, and 2 great-great- grandchildren (so far).
A memorial service will be held at Church of the Savior 651 N. Wayne Ave. Wayne, PA 19087 on Monday at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the children's ministry at Church of the Savior.
Private Burial will be in Morris Cemetery.
