Dorothy E. Raichle

Dorothy E. (Emery) Raichle, 85, wife of the late Albert H. Raichle, Jr. of Chester Springs, PA passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

Born on July 1, 1936 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late Earl F. and Phyllis H. (Hallman) Emery. Dorothy was a graduate of Phoenixville High School class of 1954.

Dorothy worked as a Postal Clerk at the Kimberton Post Office and later she worked at the Devault Post Office.

For many years she was involved in Scouting in Kimberton as a troop leader for girl Scouts and Cub Scouts.

A lifetime member of St. Peter's Pikeland United Church of Christ in Chester Springs, PA , she was very dedicated to her church. Over the years she served as a Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent, Coordinator of the Ham and Roast Beef Dinners, and Vacation Bible School Volunteer. She served on the Consistory and was also very active in the church Sewing Circle. Of special interest to her was the Heifer Project Fair and the Pickering Guild In Gathering.

She is survived by 3 children:

Son, Thomas D. husband of Sandy Raichle;

Son, Alan Scott Raichle;

Daughter, Jacqueline wife of Shawn Nordhoff.

Dorothy was a loving Grandmom to 7 Grandchildren : Thomas, Daniel, Alex, Cole, Bennett, Max, and Mia.

She is survived by her Brothers : George Emery, William Emery, and Kenneth Emery and Sister : Jane Ludwick. She was dedicated to her family and loved hosting family picnics.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service at St. Peter's Pikeland United Church of Christ, 1193 Clover Mill Road, Chester Spring, PA 19425 on Saturday, October 30 ^th , 2021 at 11:00 AM.

Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM immediately preceding will be the Memorial Service. Interment will be immediately following the service at the St. Peter's UCC Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to St. Peter's Pikeland United Church of Christ, 1193 Clover Mill Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425.
