Dominic V. "Bingo" Viola, Jr., 75, of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025.
Born on April 11, 1949 in Phoenixville he was the son of the late Dominic V. Viola, Sr. and Mary Jean (Poteete) Viola.
He served in the United States Army and completed two tours during the Vietnam War.
He worked as a Machinist/Welder for Werner Stone and Lime Company in Malvern for 28 years and then worked at Monsey Products in Kimberton until his retirement.
He was a former Borough Councilman of the North Ward, avid Eagles fan, loved playing guitar and was lead vocalist for the band "Bad Habit". Bingo was a member of just about all of the social clubs in town. He also loved spending time with his beloved cat, Millie.
He is survived by 3 children: Danine, wife of Richard Fapka, Jr.; Michele, wife of Stephen Schultz; Carly Viola.
9 Grandchildren, Zachary, Justin, RJ, Logan, Nathan, Jackson, Gavin, Vanessa, and Gianna.
2 Great-grandchildren, Jayce and Knoxx.
Brother and sisters, Diane, Pam, Sandy, Lori, Tammy, and Scott.
Special friends, Jose, Heather and Emma.
Preceded in death by his sister, Linda.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service in the Devlin - Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Southeastern Veterans Center Welfare Fund, 1 Veterans Drive, Spring City, PA 19475.
