Dolores M. "Dee" (Emery) Lauer, 84, wife of Francis G. " Tocky" Lauer, of Phoenixville, formerly of Winter Haven, FL, died on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Phoenixville Hospital.
Born on February 11, 1934 in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Howard E. and Dorothy (Freed) Emery.
She attended the Mason Street and Gay Street grade schools and was a graduate of Phoenixville High School, Class of 1951. While in High School, she played the coronet in the Marching/Dance Band for 3 years under the supervision of Walter S. Sample.
She worked at Webers Shoe store, Werner Bus Lines, Parson & Baker, SCM Corporation and the Lawn and Golf Supply Company before relocating with Tocky to Winter Haven, FL in 1983. She worked for Bartow Food Company in Winter Haven, FL and the Bramble Ridge Golf Course in Lakeland, FL for 9 years as a Pro Shop Manager.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband after his retirement to all 50 states in their camper. She also visited England, Germany, Mexico, and the Bahamas. In addition to travel, she liked to garden, read a good book, solve cryptograms and crossword puzzles, do crafts, and cross stitching. Most of all, she enjoyed her grandchildren and her granddog "Toby."

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 10:00am. with Rev. John Hutter officiating. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville.
A viewing will be held in the church Thursday morning from 8:45am to 9:45am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in her memory to St. Mary's Memorial Fund at the address above or Mass Cards.
