Diane M. Heidel

Diane M. (Watson) Heidel, 85, wife of the late Walter R. Heidel of Phoenixville, PA  died on Saturday evening, March 25, 2023 at Woodbridge Place in Kimberton.

Born on August 25, 1937 in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Liska) Watson.  Diane attended nursing school and then began her 50 year nursing career at Phoenixville Hospital, mostly as a nurse in the Emergency Room, retiring in 2004.  She was a member of St. Basil the Great Catholic Church  and had served on the Board for the Phoenixville High School Athletic Boosters.

She is survived by children:  Colleen Heidel-Butler wife of William Edward Butler III, Doreen wife of Donald White, Kurt husband of the late Emily Heidel, and Eileen wife of Jason Baker; grandchildren:  Sean, Danielle, Olivia, Skyler, Madeleine, and Tucker; 4 great grandchildren; and sister, Mary O'Grady.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA  on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Phoenixville.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
