David A. Barnett

David A. Barnett, 57, husband of Janice (Pulsipher) Barnett of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Sunday, September 4th, 2022 peacefully at home.

Born on April 10th, 1965 in Phoenixville, PA he was the son of the late Thomas J. Barnett Jr. and Dolores (Kovacs) Barnett.

David worked various jobs, however he was most known for auto mechanic work, being a dock hand, and fork truck driver. He enjoyed being outside fishing, hiking and camping.

Growing up in Phoenixville and Mont Clare, David would be seen with his friends playing various sports such as football, deck hockey, and when the canal allowed- ice hockey.

When his daughter Ashley was growing up, he coached for her various sports teams including softball, basketball, and soccer. When you couldn't see him on the side lines, he spent his time in the snack shacks.

David loved trains, classic cars, animals, his friends and most of all his family.

He is survived by his mother, Dolores Barnett.
His sister, Joyce Proulx wife of Jim Proulx
His daughter, Ashley Barnett.
His niece and nephew, Katie and Jamie Proulx
His wife, Janice (Pulsipher) Barnett.
His two step-daughters Tiffany (Roup) wife of Anthony Laventure and Crystal Roup.
His two step granddaughters Zoe and Chloe Laventure.

There will be a private burial and no services. However, his daughter Ashley will be sending out invitations to his friends for a celebration of life that will be held sometime in late October 2022. She will be reaching out to his friends, however, if you have not heard from her she asks that you give her a call at 610-551-3179 to get your address on the list for the invitations. If she doesn't answer, please leave her a voice mail. 

In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to the National Kidney Foundation or a donation by check to Ashley Barnett PO BOX 264, Oaks, PA 19456 to support our local animal shelters with various food or supplies they may need.
