Charles McGray

Charles W. "Snooks" McGray, Jr., 84, husband of Jane E. (Wetherhold) McGray, of Phoenixville, PA, died on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA.

Born on April 24, 1933, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Jennie (Zabicki) McGray.

Charles served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He worked at the former B.F. Goodrich Company in Oaks until its closing, and then he worked for the Phoenixville School District at East Pikeland Elementary School.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Phoenixville. He coached for many years for the Phoenixville Babe Ruth League and PMYC.

Surviving in addition to his wife are,
granddaughter, Erin,

daughter Deborah,
and son, Charles.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Diane McGray.

A viewing will be held in the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA, on Wednesday May 3, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380.
