Carolyn J. Williams, 78, of Coldstream Crossing, Kimberton, and formerly a 36-year Valley Forge Mountain resident, died peacefully on March 11, 2016 at Phoenixville Hospital with her family by her side. Born November 18, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Walter and Clara (Kujawa) Jacks. She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Richard Crawford Williams, a son, David White and brother, Frederic Jacks. She is survived by a daughter, Lynne Williams of Chesterbrook, a sister, Sharon McPharlin of Troy, Michigan, two grand daughters, Sara Gladney of Chesterbrook, and Christina Gladney of Toronto, and devoted companion of 18 years, Sam Courtwright of Kimberton. Carolyn was a music educator for 38 years and continued to share her passion of music through private piano lessons and as Director of the Phoenixville Senior Center Choir. She was the proprietor of the Bed & Breakfast of Valley Forge reservation service. She enjoyed cooking, reading, playing the piano, listening to music, and quiet dinners with friends and family. A viewing will be held at the Devlin Rosmos Kepp & Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 S. Main Street at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville on Wednesday, March 16th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Relatives and friends are invited to Carolyn's Life Celebration memorial service at the Washington Memorial Chapel, Route 23, Valley Forge Park, Valley Forge on Thursday, March 17th at 10:00am, burial to follow.
