Carol Petiet

Carol Marie (Katein) Petiet, 75, wife of the late Franklin B. Petiet, of Phoenixville, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022 in her residence.

Born on March 8, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Anthony & Esther (Hess) Katein.

Carol was self employed as a housekeeper for many years. She was also a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Phoenixville where she taught Sunday school. Though she preferred to keep to herself, she was known as the "neighborhood mom" to her children's friends.

She is survived by 3 children: Franklin Petiet, Rebecca wife of RonStevans, Melinda Petiet; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony William Katein.

Funeral service and interment will be held privately for her family.
