Carol A. (Stephens) Bickel, 65, beloved wife of Joseph A. Bickel of Trooper, PA passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born on October 26, 1955 in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold M. and Marjorie (Reichert) Stephens. Carol was a dedicated Head Cook with Methacton School District for over 10 years. Even after long hours cooking at work, she loved to come home and whip

up yummy meals for her family and loved ones. Not only was Carol a master in the kitchen, she was also known as a “Mrs. Fix-It” - a strong woman who could figure out any task or challenge she was confronted with. Other lifelong hobbies included crafting and home improvement.

As a loving “Mom mom”, Carol enjoyed spending her weekends watching and hanging with grandson AJ. Most nights, you could find her relaxing on the front porch talking on the phone, or chatting with neighbors. Carol had an impact on everyone she met, and was known as an extremely caring, genuine person who always had a smile on her face - and consistently put everyone else’s needs before her own.
