Barbara A. Shine

Barbara A. (Spishock) Shine, 91, wife of the late Joseph Eugene Shine of Royersford, PA died at home surrounded by family on Friday, November 29, 2024.

Born on August 19, 1933 in Shamokin, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Lusick) Spishock. Barbara's primary job was raising her family, though she had also worked at the Container Corporation of America. She was member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed routine trips to the shore with family.

She is survived by two children: James Allen and Joann wife of Victor Naumenko; 7 grandchildren: Victor Naumenko, Matt Naumenko, Rachel Shine wife of Brian Davidheiser, Joseph husband of Samantha Shine, Michael husband of Taylor Shine, Jamie Santiago, and Jessica Allen; 11 Great Grandchildren: Zachary, Skylur, Khloe, Eugene, Gloria, Goldie, Sage, Madeline, Thomas, Tyler, and Kayden.

She was preceded in death by sons: Eugene Shine and Joseph Allen; grandchildren: April Shine and Thomas Allen: brother, Joseph Spishock, and sister, Sylvia

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 11:00 am with Rev. Thomas P. Kletzel officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:00 am.
