Barbara E. Chapay

Barbara E. (Krause) Chapay, 94, wife of the late Thomas J. Chapay of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023.

Born on December 18, 1928 in Pottstown, PA she was the daughter of the late Russel and Thelma Volpe (Isett).

She worked for Wyeth Laboratories in Great Valley as a label machine operator until her retirement.

Barbara was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and the Phoenixville Senior Center

She enjoyed dancing with her late husband and roller skating. She also liked to knit and take trips to the casino.

She is survived by her daughter:
Diane M. wife of Joseph J. Fratantoni of Spring City.

2 Grandsons, Joseph T., of Peru and Anthony J. Fratantoni, of Limerick.

2 Great grandchildren, Briella M. and Vincent J. Fratantoni.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Phoenixville.
