Born on August 10, 1972 in Jacksonville, FL, Art was the son of Arthur Charles Scott, Jr. and Reta (Freeman) Scott of Phoenixville, PA.

Art graduated from Nottingham High School in Hamilton, New Jersey in 1990. While in High School, he won the Golf State Championship.

He attended Trenton State College.

He worked as a Golf Pro for several Country Clubs in the Wilmington, NC area including: Beau Rivage, Porters Neck and Castle Bay Country Clubs.

Art enjoyed boating and fishing.

Art was full of life. He was always giving and caring for others and was known for his big heart and smile.

He was a devoted son, brother and uncle.
