Anna C. Bednarczyk

Anna C. (Potoczniak) Bednarczyk, 100, wife of the late Maurice J. Bednarczyk of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023.

Born on May 20, 1923 in Phoenixville, PA she was the daughter of the late Demetro and Julie (Chopiadlo) Potoczniak.

She worked in Housekeeping at the West Company.

She was a lifelong active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Rosary Society.

Anna was a strong, independent mother who helped her neighbors, friends, and especially her family.  She loved her cozy kitchen where she spent many hours  baking and cooking for herself and family.  She liked spending time with her family mostly her grandchildren and great grandchildren especially at the holidays.  When she was able she walked to the different neighbors meeting and talking to them, especially when she knew someone was sick or needed help. 

She is survived by her daughters:
Ann Barbara "Bobbie" wife of Ronald Heatwole:
Diane wife of Paul Winters.

3 Grandchildren, Christine, Gregory, and Susan.

4 Great-grandchildren, Julia, Christian, Seth, and Jacob.

Sister, Julie Kilyk.

Nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Peter Potoczniak, Alexander Potoczniak and Stephen Potoczniak. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Road, Spring City, PA on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 10:30 am with Rev. Charles O'Hara officiating.

Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.

A visitation will be held in church on Friday from 9:15 to 10:15 am.

In lieu of flowers mass cards would be appreciated.
