Aniello Scialla, 96, husband of the late Angela Rose (Dell'Aquila) Scialla of Phoenixville, PA died on Monday, March 13, 2017
Born on July 1, 1920 in Santa Barbara di Caserta , Italy he was son of the late Lorenzo and Anna Maria (Dell'Aquila) Scialla
He served in the Italian Army during World War II.
Mr. Scialla came to Phoenixville in 1955 and worked at the former Phoenix Steel Corp until its closing.
He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and the Santa Anna Italian American Club.
He enjoyed gardening, making homemade wine and feeding Larry's dog Susie.
He is survived by:
son, Lorenzo "Larry" Sciallo of Phoenixville
daughter, Anna Marie wife of Stanley Pascavage of York, PA
son, Cesare Sciallo of West Chester, PA
6 Grandchildren: Mary Dickerson, Neil Sciallo, Lucy Tyler, Michael Pascavage, Lisa Trachtenberg, and Joe Pascavage.

He was preceded in death by a son, Michele; brothers Nicola Sciallo, Giuseppe Scialla; sisters, Angelina Natale and Rosa Scialla
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 212 Dayton Street, Phoenixville, PA on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
A viewing will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 am
