Alyssa Poinsett

Alyssa Marie Poinsett, 28, of Bristol, PA, died suddenly on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at her residence.

Born on January 2, 1990 in Poughkeepsie, New York, she was the daughter of Eugene F. Poinsett, Jr. and Nancy L. (Fazekas) Lawrence.

She graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School, Class of 2009, and attended Widener University for Nursing.  Alyssa was vibrant and beautiful, loved music, played the piano and violin, and was a great lover of animals of all kind. Disney World, Minnie Mouse, Harry Potter, Captain America, the Beach, Movies, and a Beanie Baby collection were just a few of her favorite things.  Her sense of humor and contagious laugh warmed up any room.  A gentle, kind, sweet soul she was.

Alyssa is survived by her parents, Mother and Step-Father, Nancy and Jeff Lawrence, Father Eugene F. Poinsett, Jr., Step-Sister Samantha Lawrence, Grandmother Marie "Nanny" Fazekas, Grandmother Donna "Granny" Fazekas, Aunt and Uncle Sally and Jim Carlin, Aunt and Uncle Debi and Patrick Poinsett, many wonderful cousins, extended family, and precious friends.  Alyssa was preceded in death by Grandmother Sara Ann "Dama" Poinsett, Grandfather Eugene F. Poinsett, Sr., and Grandfather Geza Fazekas.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation at the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 517 South Main Street, at Fourth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Burial will be private.
