Alvin W. Brown, aka Big Boy, 78, of Pottstown, PA, died on Monday, July 25, 2016 at home. He was the loving companion of 36 years to the late Patricia A. Whitehawk.

Born in Phoenixville, PA, he was the son of the late Alexander and Christine Johnson.

He worked at Mayer Pollock Steel in Pottstown, PA.

He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Robert Johnson, Allen Brown, Wayne Brown, Alexander Johnson, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service in Kingdom Life Church, 380 Walnut Street, Pottstown, PA, on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11:00 am.

Burial will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories.

A viewing will be held in the church from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
