Albert J. Constantine

Albert J. "Bay" Constantine, 94, of Wayne, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Sunrise at Granite Run, Media, PA.

Born on December 30, 1929 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Maria (Caesarini) Constantine of Wayne, PA. 

Albert was a graduate of Radnor High School and he served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Albert was an avid golfer and a professional musician playing the Accordion and Organ at various entertainment venues throughout the years. 
 
He spent his early career as a member of the "Bill Hailey and the 4 Aces of Western Swing" band, and was the founding member of the "Keynotes” music group. 

He was a lifelong parishioner of “Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church”, in Strafford, PA, and frequented the Italian-American Club in Wayne, PA. 

He is survived by his only daughter, Dora Millard (Gary), 3 Grandchildren Sheri Davis (Neil), Kenneth Millard, and Kevin Millard (Priscella), 5 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Lillian Gambale, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by longtime partner Grace Kinney, sisters, Julia Quici, Viola Roscioli, brother, Warren Constantine, nieces, Darlene Daniels, Bonnie MacLennan, and great niece Lauren Robb. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at “Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church”, 35 Old Eagle School Road, Strafford, PA 19087 on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held in the Church on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA. 

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of his great niece Lauren Robb at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Checks made out to CHOP Foundation can be mailed to P.O.
